The work of 13 Point Park University students and alumni will be showcased in "Hallucinations," an exhibition presented by The Fix Magazine, the student-run art publication. The exhibition runs March 19-24 at Artists Image Resource and is free and open to the public.

"The included artworks, which include mediums such as photography, painting, video, writing and collage all respond to the idea of the hallucinogenic; a 'sensory perception, from sight to sound, taste to touch, that feels real yet isn't quite, that you experience but others do not,'" said Lexi Bishop, part-time instuctor in Point Park's School of Communication. "These representations highlight the intrinsic relationship between our individualized and shared realities and explore the wide spectrum of careers and interests represented by the contributing artists."

This exhibition reflects the collective voices of students and alumni from a variety of majors, including photography, digital journalism, cinema arts and graphic and interactive design, among others.
