Andrew Conte, a School of Communication part-time professor and investigative reporter for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, will be honored at the Scripps Howard Foundation Awards for his work on a recent series published in the Tribune-Review. At Point Park, Conte also serves as the director of the Point Park News Service.

In the category of business/economics reporting, Conte won the William Brewster Styles Award for "$hadow Economy," co-written with reporter Lou Kilzer and editor Jim Wilhelm.

The award ceremony will be held on May 9 in Naples, Fla.

The Scripps Howard Awards competition recognizes outstanding print, online and broadcast journalism in the United States.
