Visit Scholarship Program
The Visit Scholarship Program aims to recognize and reward the enthusiasm of prospective students who take the time to experience firsthand the unique educational environment and rich cultural offerings of the Downtown Pittsburgh campus.
Prospective First-year Undergraduate Students
The Point Park University Visit Scholarship — valued at $4,000 ($1,000 per academic year) — will be awarded to eligible students who visit the university's campus between Aug. 1 - May 1 and subsequently enroll as full-time undergraduate students.
The scholarship will be disbursed evenly over the course of four years, providing valuable financial support throughout their academic journey. This scholarship is a testament to the university's commitment to making higher education accessible and affordable for talented students seeking an exceptional academic experience.
Prospective Transfer Students
The Point Park University Visit Scholarship for transfer students is valued at $3,600 ($1,200 per academic year, up to three years) — will be awarded to eligible students who visit the university's campus between June 1 and Aug. 15 and subsequently enroll as full-time undergraduate students. The scholarship will be disbursed evenly over the course of four years, providing valuable financial support throughout their academic journey.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Visit Scholarship, high school juniors, seniors and transfer students must schedule and complete an official campus visit or attend an admissions event.
During their visit, students will have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet with admissions counselors, and learn more about the wide range of academic programs offered at Point Park University. By actively engaging with the university community, students will gain valuable insights into the vibrant student life and immersive learning experiences.
