Assistant Professor To Discuss North Park Nike Missile Site Monday, April 4, 2011

Friends of North Park is hosting a tour of the Nike Missile site near North Park on April 5 at 7:00 p.m. Point Park University assistant professor, Robert Skertich, Ph.D., is the special guest. Skertich will be discussing the history of the Nike Missile site.

The event is open to the public. Participants will meet at the Allegheny County Police & Fire Academy located on West Ridge Road. Sturdy shoes that can get dirty and wet are recommended. Attendees are encouraged to bring a flashlight and cameras.
