Dr. Archish Maharaja presents papers, co-authored with three School of Business faculty members, at international conference Tuesday, August 10, 2010
Archish Maharaja, Ed.D., assistant professor in Point Park University's School of Business, presented the following four papers at the 17th Annual International Conference on Advances in Management held in Atlanta, Georgia.
- "Exploring the Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Styles of Management in Multinational Corporations." Dr. Gita Maharaja, Mr. Andrew McIntyre and Dr. Archish Maharaja.
- "Knowledge Creation in Multinational Corporations." Dr. Dimitris Kraniou, Dr. Archish Maharaja, and Mr. Andrew McIntyre.
- "Can Educating Physicians Increase the Adoption Rate of Electronic Health Records?" Dr. Archish Maharaja, and Mr. Andrew McIntyre.
- "Strategies for Physicians to Remain Independent from Hospital Systems." Dr. Archish Maharaja, Mr. Andrew McIntyre and Dr. Shannon Whitaker.
Maharaja was also a chair for the track "Improving Effectiveness of Health Care" at the conference. For the second year in a row he was elected as trustee for the same conference to be held in Cancun, Mexico from July 13-16, 2011.
