Point Park University's Project Children LEAD (Learning Early to Appreciate Diversity) will hold the 6th Annual Multicultural Conference on Friday, May 20, 2011 in the Lawrence Hall Ballroom.

The Multicultural Conference gives educators and administrators a forum to explore new and innovative ways to improve multicultural education through interactive learning. The keynote speaker for this year's conference is Lenny Schad, Chief Information Officer at Katy Independent School District in Texas.

This year, conference participants will be encouraged to hang out in the Social Media Lounge. A Social Media and Related Technology or S.M.A.R.T. Team will be on hand to help participants set up their social media presence on sites including Linkedin, Twitter, Second Life, Google Docs, and more.

Early bird registration is $35 if you register and pay in full by April 30, 2011. The registration fee is $40 after May 1, 2011. Registration includes materials and continental breakfast. You can register at childrenlead.org.
