Point Park University announced Peggy T. McKnight has been elected as a member to the Board of Trustees at the August board meeting.

McKnight is active as a community volunteer for many non-profit organizations in Pittsburgh. She is currently involved with Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, serving on the Individual Gifts Committee and the Women's Committee, Associates and Decorative Arts Committee for the Carnegie Museum of Art and as a member of the Inner Circle for the Warhol Museum. McKnight also serves on the Board of Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and currently chairs the Individual Gift Committee.

She is actively involved with Gilda's Club of Western Pennsylvania, having spearheaded the fundraising effort to establish Gilda's Club in Pittsburgh, and continues to serve on its Advisory Committee.

McKnight, who graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in psychology and a B.S. and Master's Degree in occupational therapy, currently serves as a hand therapy and rheumatology consultant.
