Point Park University, a leading educational institution in Downtown Pittsburgh, is thrilled to announce the introduction of the Point Park University Visit Scholarship. This exciting scholarship opportunity — valued at $4,000 — is exclusively available to high school juniors and seniors who visit the University's vibrant Downtown campus between Sept. 1, 2023, and March 1, 2024.
The Point Park University Visit Scholarship aims to recognize and reward the enthusiasm of prospective students who take the time to experience firsthand the unique educational environment and rich cultural offerings of the Downtown campus. This scholarship is a testament to the University's commitment to making higher education accessible and affordable for talented students seeking an exceptional academic experience.
“We are excited to launch the Point Park University Visit Scholarship as a way to encourage high school students to explore our campus and discover the many opportunities available to them,” said Dr. Chris W. Brussalis, president of Point Park. “By providing financial assistance through this scholarship, we hope to make it easier for students to envision themselves as part of our dynamic community and take that important step toward achieving their educational goals.”
To be eligible for the Visit Scholarship, high school juniors and seniors must schedule and complete an official campus visit between Sept. 1, 2023, and March 1, 2024, or attend the University’s Admissions Open Houses on Sept. 16, 2023; Nov. 4, 2023; or Feb. 3, 2024.
During their visit, students will have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet with admissions counselors and learn more about the wide range of academic programs offered at Point Park. By actively engaging with the University community, students will gain valuable insights into the vibrant student life and immersive learning experiences.
