Speaker Series Continues With Writers from the Sports Business Journal Wednesday, April 11, 2012

The Pittsburgh Center for Sports Media and Marketing continues its speaker series this Thursday, April 12 with two prominent writers from the Sports Business Journal, the preeminent national publication covering the sports industry. Editor-at-large Terry Lefton and staff writer John Ourand will be on Point Park's campus Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in 701 Student Center to speak to Point Park students.

Lefton and Ourand are sports journalists but aren't traditional "sports writers." Instead of covering games or individual athletes they write about sports television, sports marketing, sports sponsorship and the sports business in general.

Join us to hear their unique perspectives on careers in the sports world! This event is free to Point Park students.
