Women of Humility Honored by Black Student Union of Point Park University Tuesday, March 9, 2010

The Black Student Union of Point Park University will be hosting the Women of Humility Awards Gala at Point Park University. The Black Student Union will be honoring women in the Pittsburgh Region for their commitment to diversity, professional achievement and leadership excellence. The event will be held in the Lawrence Hall Lobby on March 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

Doris Carson-Williams, President of the African-American Chamber of Commerce will be the keynote speaker for the evening.

The 2010 Women of Humility honorees are Candi Castleberry-Singleton, UPMC; Dr. Nancy D. Washington, Community Champion; Gretchen Haggerty, United States Steel; Dr. Karen McIntyre, Point Park University; Dr. Angela Isaac, Point Park University; Marsha Ellis Jones, PNC Bank; and Helen Fallon, Point Park University.

Individual tickets are $20. Guests will enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and live music throughout the event.
