Student Organizations on Campus
- Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) — The CCO at Point Park is a student-run club at Point Park University, formed in partnership with the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO). We invite students to encounter Christ and to be transformed through their relationship with God and each other. We learn, grow and serve in community as we join Christ’s restoration of the world. Outside of the weekly large group gathering, there are several other opportunities to get involved, such as small group meetings, service opportunities, and social events.
- Point Park Bible Study — A new student group in Fall 2024, the purpose of this organization is to help students develop a deeper understanding of the Bible and strengthen their faith, grow a community of friends, and apply the knowledge they learn to their lives.
- PPU Catholic Crew — PPU Catholic Crew is a religious club that aims to help students enrich their personal Catholic faith. We are a supportive, faith-centered community that focuses on the intricacies of Catholicism. Members of this club will grow in their understanding of the Eucharist, the saints, the Holy Mass, the Rosary and other parts of the faith that are uniquely Catholic! This club will attend events at the Catholic Newman Center in Oakland in order to connect with other Catholic students from Pitt University, Carnegie Mellon University and Chatham University. Other initiatives of this club include volunteering with local charities, going on Rosary walks, book studies and having "Mass Buddies" so that nobody feels alone in their faith journey. Anyone who has a sincere interest in engaging with and growing in the Catholic faith are encouraged to join!"
