Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT)

 

The CCRT is a group of campus and community partners who foster inclusivity and safety in promoting a caring, transparent, trauma-informed, survivor-centered approach domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. They are committed to sustainable education, training, and prevention programing that shifts culture toward restorative justice and accountability at the institution. The CCRT meets twice a semester to discuss campus safety and updates with the OVW program. The CCRT includes some of the following departments and organizations:

• University Administration, Faculty, Staff and Students (internal departments include the Office of Compliance and Integrity, Student Conduct, Counseling, Student Affairs, DEI, Student Life, Athletics, etc.)
• Point Park University Police
• Pittsburgh Action Against Rape (PAAR)
• Pittsburgh Police Bureau
• Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh
• Women Against Abusive Relationships (WAAR)
• Other external resources
