Safe Haven Project

As part of Point Park University’s It’s On Us commitment to supporting survivors and creating a safer campus, the Safe Haven Project provides confidential, trauma-informed support for students impacted by sexual assault, domestic violence, or other forms of interpersonal violence.

Safe Haven Closet

With support from the It’s On Us initiative, the Safe Haven Closet ensures students have immediate access to essential care items following a crisis. Designated staff from the Health Center, Counseling Center, AOD, and Title IX can discreetly retrieve supplies—such as clothing, hygiene products, and comfort materials—for students experiencing sexual assault or domestic violence, prioritizing privacy and dignity.

Safe Haven Space

Open 24/7, the Safe Haven Space is a dedicated, quiet room near the Student Health Center where students can rest, decompress, and access printed resources about campus and community support. This space is designed to offer safety, peace, and solidarity to any student in need.
