Conservatory of Performing Arts

Modern Program

As a modern dance student, you push personal boundaries and explore your potential for creativity. From influential dance canons to contemporary dance movement, this curriculum takes you from student dancer to emerging artist. With opportunities to perform works by established master choreographers and emerging artists of note, you advance to become a dancer capable of integrating style, technique and artistry with contemporary trends and innovative technologies.

You will benefit from working with resident faculty, as well as guest teaching artists and choreographers. The full-time faculty have worked at dance companies around the world, and guest artists and choreographers regularly come to campus to conduct master classes and workshops.
