Background

Beginning in 1960 as a junior college, Point Park offered two-year degrees in business and accounting. The bachelor’s degree programs in these majors were established in 1966 as Point Park became a four-year, baccalaureate degree-granting college. Located in West Penn Hall, the Rowland School of Business at Point Park University currently offers one doctoral degree program, three master’s degree programs, 10 bachelor’s degree programs and 18 minors.
