Educating and empowering women is an essential element of the Rowland School of Business at Point Park University.

The Women In Industry (WIN) initiative exists to accelerate the success of women-identified students and professionals.

By leveraging university and community resources, we strive to engage leaders, effect conversations and encourage allyship through a variety of elevating experiences.

  • WIN WednesdaysThe Women in Industry initiative will explore inclusive leadership in its 2023-24 series by identifying the characteristics of inclusive leaders, facilitating the development of leaders who lead inclusively, and exploring the tools inclusive leaders use in organizations and communities. The 2023-24 series features an Inclusive Leadership virtual certificate program hosted by Dorene Ciletti, Ph.D., and Sandra Mervosh, M.S., SHRM-SCP, SPHR. Sessions are held on Wednesdays during the fall and spring semesters. More info can be found on our events page.
  • WIN Lunchtime Book Club: This virtual, interactive book club held monthly on Friday afternoons features engaging conversations that tie into our theme of inclusive leadership. Sessions are moderated by Nancy Furbee of Furbee and Associates LLC and Pat McNellis of The McNellis Compression Planning® System. More info can be found on our events page.
