SAEM Next! Session on Live Entertainment

The SAEM Next! session on live entertainment addressed how things are going to look when concerts, festivals and other large live events return.

The June 3, 2020 live session featured Kevin Lyman, creator and producer of The Warped Tour; Stuart Ross, personal manager at Red Light Management and Morgan Nicholson, director of marketing for Live Nation Pittsburgh.

It was an incredible one-hour of fascinating discussion answering the following questions:

• When will we return to having concerts and live events that we were used to?
• What are some of the challenges facing the touring industry in regards to traveling on tour busses, hotels, social distancing, etc.?
• What words of encouragement do you have for our Point Park University students and alumni regarding post-pandemic job opportunities?

The live entertainment session was moderated by Professor Ed Traversari, MBA, and assisted by co-moderator and SAEM student Christy Martin.
