The SAEM Next! session on marketing hosted July 8, 2020 featured:

  • Jamison Antoine, senior director of campaign and strategy and email operations, Warner Music Group
  • David Jacobs '09, consumer marketing, Global Integrated Communications Planning - Instagram, Messenger and Youth, Facebook
  • Andi Perelman, senior director of new media, Pittsburgh Penguins

Throughout the one-hour session, the panel addressed a variety of questions around marketing during the pandemic and civil unrest. 

Some of the questions answered included:

  • What marketing trends are you seeing?

  • What are the innovations in marketing that stand out to you?

  • What skills do the panelists think are especially valuable for students to having coming into the industry?

  • How do you market to perspective season ticket holders when you don’t know what the season will look like?

  • Does it seem like the fans are reacting well to the virtual experiences?

The venues session was moderated by SAEM Associate Professor Paige Beal, MBA, and SAEM student Grace Offerdahl '21.
