Due to social distancing guidelines in relation to COVID-19, the Theatre Department will be hosting all virtual auditions/interviews for the 2020-21 academic year. 

A pre-screen video submission is required for acting, musical theatre and theatre arts applicants. You must complete the pre-screen process in order to be considered for a live (virtual) audition/interview. 

All theatre applicants are required to submit an academic application prior to submitting their pre-screen materials and scheduling a live (virtual) audition/interview. 

Theatre Production Applicants 

Theatre production applicants are required to submit a portfolio via Point Park University's Acceptd home page prior to scheduling their interview.

Virtual Point Park University Interview/Audition Dates 

*The virtual experience will include a Q&A session with current students and faculty, a tour of the Pittsburgh Playhouse, and the live audition/interview for your prospective major.

Artistic Review Fee

A $100 artistic review fee is required for acting, musical theatre and theatre arts applicants. Fee is paid upon completion of the pre-screen submission process. Payment is non-refundable.
