Background
Becky Spritz, Ph.D., joins the team at Point Park University after serving as the associate provost for Academic Affairs at Roger Williams University since 2022. Before that, she was the senior associate and assistant dean of Roger Williams' School of Social and Natural Sciences (2018 - 2022) and the school's University Honors program director (2010 - 2018). Spritz served in several teaching roles as a visiting assistant professor, assistant professor and professor at the university since 1999.
Spritz was also a part of the Roger Williams senior administrative leadership team, providing support to the provost on key strategic initiatives for the university. Through this role, she assisted in the 10-year accreditation process, graduate program development and faculty teaching and learning initiatives.
