Program Accreditation

The Bachelor of Science degree program in electrical engineering has been designed to comply with all criteria of the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET (www.abet.org). Our program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org. This program is newly accredited, and its accreditation extends retroactively from October 1, 2018.

ABET-accredited programs have demonstrated their excellence during rigorous, objective, periodic reviews conducted by external evaluators. The laws related to the professional practice of engineering in most states give preference to graduates of ABET-accredited programs because the quality of their education is known. Students who are considering the study of engineering are encouraged to inquire whether prospective programs are currently accredited or are planning to seek accreditation.
