Point Park summer courses can help graduation day arrive sooner and help fill the summer with a productive learning experience!

Summer Session I six and 12-week sessions start May 2.
Summer Session I eight-week Online/Saturday/Evening start May 7.

Point Park welcomes all students to our summer sessions:

  • Current Point Park students that want to save money and time by taking classes
  • Students enrolled at other universities who want to transfer credits back to their schools
  • Newly admitted students who are hoping to get a jump start on their college career

We offer a spectrum of courses, including general core requirements, major and minor classes and free electives.

As an added benefit, students taking online undergraduate courses this summer can take advantage of a discounted tuition rate of just $520 per credit plus applicable fees. 

In addition, students doing a summer internship for credit pay a discounted rate of $250 per credit, plus fees.** Students doing a co-op pay a discounted rate of $400 per credit, plus fees.***

Undergraduate On-ground

  • After 15% discount, students taking on-ground undergraduate classes pay just $807 per credit plus fees. Students enrolled in conservatory classes pay $1,040 per credit plus fees after 15% discount.

Undergraduate Online

  • Summer Online Courses:  $520 per credit, plus a $40-per-credit technology fee.

Graduate

  • Summer Graduate Courses: Point Park's summer 2022 graduate online tuition rate of $740 per credit on select programs, plus applicable fees.  For master-level education programs, $550 per credit, plus applicable fees.  For doctoral-level programs, $963 per credit, plus applicable fees.  For the Psy. D. program, $993 per credit plus fees.

Point Park’s summer courses can help speed your time to degree completion, make room in your schedule to pursue a second major, minor in a program of interest, or just lighten your credit load for future semesters.

If you attend a two-year or four-year institution elsewhere, we welcome you to take courses at Point Park, either online or on campus.

As a first step, check with your school adviser to make sure the Point Park class(es) you want to take would be accepted for transfer by your institution. The next step is to apply for admission to Point Park as a non-degree student (no cost to apply online).  To apply:

  1. Please create an account.
  2. Your User ID and login link will be sent to the email address provided
  3. Follow the login link to activate your account. Important note: Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder for the activation email.
  4. After activating – you can begin your application!
