Point Park University's School of Communication announced the inaugural recipients of the Tatyana Dumova Multimedia Scholarship. This undergraduate scholarship was introduced in the Fall 2020 to recognize academic accomplishments of multimedia students including overcoming adversity.

Due to many qualifying submissions, two monetary awards were granted that were split between three winners:

  • Blake Beshero
  • Devon Colebank
  • Megan McKenzie

"I chose this program because of how many different skills it teaches," said Megan McKenzie, a junior multimedia major. "I love that I can learn graphic design, marketing, copywriting and more with this major."

Professor Dumova, who did not participate in the selection process, extended her heartfelt appreciation for all the hard work that the students had put into their applications.

The B.A. in multimedia program was created in 2010 and is the largest major in the School of Communication.
