Competitive Cheer and Dance

Join Point Park's Cheer or Dance Team

Point Park Competitive Cheer and Dance is a university-sponsored club sport. The cheer and dance teams are featured at all home varsity men's and women's basketball games and perform at various campus events. Each spring, the teams compete at the National Cheerleaders Association and National Dance Alliance in Daytona, Florida. 

All team members are eligible for cheer and dance scholarships. We accept applications to audition for either team on a rolling basis. 

Please note: the cheer and dance teams are not associated with Point Park's Conservatory of Performing Arts School of Dance, and auditions are held separately. However, we have several dance majors who participate as an extracurricular activity.

   If you’re ready to take the next step, start your application. We’ll guide you through the process, ensuring you maximize the available scholarships and financial aid options.
4. Tour our facilities:
   Visit campus to check out our facilities, meet current team members and experience our welcoming community firsthand.

Support the Cheer and Dance Teams

During the annual Day of Giving, you can earmark your gift for the cheer and dance teams. Or, you can give to the cheer and dance teams at any time with our Give Now page. Choose "Other" and then type in cheer and dance. Gifts go to the championship fund.
