Join Alumni Chase Barron for a simple follow-along fitness routine designed to alleviate stress after long days behind digital screens. This session explores how brief movement breaks can help to relieve back pain, increase energy, improve mobility, boost metabolism, tone muscles, and more. No gym clothes necessary - business/casual attire is fine.

Chase Barron has spent years as a certified personal trainer working with all stages of trainees - from high school athletes to busy parents to Silver Sneakers clubs and beyond. He has virtually coached diverse clients from five major continents worldwide. His fitness-focused YouTube channel has over forty thousand subscribers and multiple millions of views. Currently, Chase works a cozy desk-job here at Point Park.

The Happiness Lab

Mental Illness Happy Hour
The Mental Illness Happy Hour is a weekly online podcast that interviews comedians, artists, friends, and the occasional doctor. Each episode explores mental illness, trauma, addiction and negative thinking. This podcast rests comfortably in that almost-uncomfortable place of comedy and catharsis, as one reviewer writes: “I bust out laughing in public on the regular listening. Sometimes I cry too. I love hearing the honesty in the surveys read. That’s my favorite part.”

Meditation Minis Podcast
For the uninitiated, meditation can feel intimidating, overwhelming, or simply impossible. This is what makes Chel Hamilton’s podcast so great: Each episode is 5-10 minutes long and offers bite-sized meditation moments that are accessible and easy to accomplish. You don’t have to sit perfectly still for thirty minutes to get the benefits of mindfulness with this easy-to-digest podcast.
