Family Weekend
Family Weekend will be Friday, Oct. 23 to Sunday, Oct. 26, 2026.
We extend a warm invitation to all Point Park students and their families to attend Family Weekend. This is a wonderful time for families to spend together enjoying the many opportunities available to their students, as well as exploring Downtown Pittsburgh, the vibrant home of our campus.

Tips for a Great Family Weekend
- Online registration is required. (Please check back for the link in the fall.)
- See last year's Schedule of Events for a sample. Check back in the fall for this year's schedule and Registration information pages to help you plan your visit.
- Before making your plans, make sure to discuss them with your student to make sure they are available. Students may have school or work obligations they must meet during Family Weekend.
- Visit the Resources page to find information about on and off campus dining, transportation, directions to campus, parking, traffic and weather, and links to other resources such as city maps and guides.
- If you need to book a hotel, visit the University's Area Hotels page for a list of suggested hotels.
