Collaborating With Our Downtown Pittsburgh Community

Point Park University's Center for Civic and Community Engagement (CCE) serves as a hub to support collaboration and social innovation between the campus and the community. The Center supports Point Park's faculty, staff and students in partnerships with local nonprofit and community members who are involved with engaged scholarship, service-learning and community-based projects by mobilizing university-community partnerships to address societal challenges.

Join the Transformation

The CCE is committed to moving beyond transactional relationships to create transformational solutions for our communities. We invite you to join the conversation as we lay the foundation. We welcome discussions with local leaders, government agencies, nonprofits, educational institutions and individuals who share our goal of revitalizing Downtown Pittsburgh in a sustainable, scalable way that can be replicated around the country.

Utilize Our Space

The CCE includes a social innovation collaborative space for trainings, meetings, design thinking sessions, strategic planning and community events. The room holds up to 30 people seated and more with standing room. The furniture can be rearranged with a large whiteboard area for meeting use. The furniture can also be easily removed to create open space. If you would like to borrow the room for an upcoming session, reach out to us at communityengagement@pointpark.edu
