Background

Prior to joining Point Park University as a full-time faculty member, Janice Glunk, Ed.D., was the superintendent at Steel Valley School District. Before that, she served in the roles of director of curriculum and instruction at McKeesport Area School District, assistant director for curriculum and instruction at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, and coordinator of literacy and federal programs at Steel Valley School District. As a coordinator at Steel Valley, Glunk developed the first school-wide Title I programs in Western Pa.
