"This ranking gives us visibility and will help catapult the Department of Theatre forward as we strive to attract the top talent in acting and musical theatre in the future. The high level of talent we continue to attract will reflect superbly on Broadway stages for years to come."

Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts received an honorable mention in a recent Playbill report highlighting colleges and universities with the most alumni performing in the 2025-26 Broadway season.
The publication selected 10 of the most represented schools on Broadway, including honorable mentions that, according to Playbill, “just barely missed making the top 10.”
"It was a happy discovery to see Point Park University ranked just outside the top 10 of performers currently working on Broadway," said Gary Kline, associate dean and artistic director of the School of Theatre, Film and Animation. "Credit must be given to the terrific faculty — including those in the School of Dance — for the wonderful training our alumni have received. And even though they were not counted in this particular survey, our alumni working behind the scenes continue to make their mark. Kudos to all who reflect our great training!"
