High school: Quigley Catholic High School

Why did you choose Point Park?

I chose to come to Point Park because they have the best program when it came to what I want to do with my career. I also chose Point Park because it was in the city and it would allow me to experience something new.

What do you love most about going to school in the city?

I love that there is always something to do in the city. It is just a place of endless possibilities.

Who is your favorite professor?

Paul Coatsworth and Gina Catanzarite are my favorite professors. I believe they are the best because they have been in the television business and still have connections to the business. They also know how to get the most out of there students, and they are willing to push their students to get their full potential out of them.

What activities are you involved in (both on campus and off)?

I am involved with U-View, the campus television station. I am the host of the Pioneer Sideline, and have appeared on the other shows in Entertainment on Point and Daybreak

Have you had any internships? What were your responsibilities?

I interned for KDKA Radio 93.7 The Fan. My job was to helped them produce the show and do research when I was in the studio. When I was at practices and games, my jobs were to take notes and to get interviews so that we would have sound bites.

What advice would you give to an incoming student?

I would tell them to get involved with things as soon as you step on campus, and to adventure somewhere new every week because there is no reason to be trapped inside when there is just so much to do in the city.
