Criminal Justice Degree

Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

Offered on campus and fully online

Integrating Criminal Justice with Social Sciences

Point Park University's criminal justice major is based upon the enforcement of the law, detection of crimes, investigation of crimes, prosecution of offenders and eventual sentencing of individuals convicted in the criminal justice system. Taught by professors who bring real-world experience into the classroom, Point Park's criminal justice program will prepare you for a variety of careers through hands-on coursework and experiential learning opportunities.

Unlike many other criminal justice programs, which are centered in psychology or sociology, Point Park's criminal justice curriculum integrates social sciences, behavioral sciences and humanities as part of its interdisciplinary program.

Our University's Downtown Pittsburgh location affords students many opportunities to learn from and network with judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys and law enforcement officers. Our location also gives students a variety of options for invaluable, career-focused internships and observations.

Our program is also available fully online.

Tuition Discount for Law Enforcement Professionals
