Welcome New Pioneer

The Point Park community is ready to welcome you to your new home-away-from-home on campus!

All first-year students live on campus in traditional residence halls in Downtown Pittsburgh. That means having access to on-campus dining services and the convenience of only a short walk to class.

Pioneer Experience is a full-week orientation program to assist students with getting comfortable at Point Park. It occurs in the days immediately before classes start and integrates students, academically and socially, into the University community.

The Professional Career-Readiness Center helps students prepare for their desired careers. Through the center’s special programs and services, students take advantage of opportunities for professional development and work experience related to their majors.

Providing a safe environment to learn, live and work on campus is the number one priority of Point Park University’s Police Department.

The Office of Information Technology Services provides campus-wide Wi-Fi and a help desk to aid students with various technology needs and online services.

With 50 active student clubs, countless events and discounts to Pittsburgh attractions available, students have a variety of activities to choose from.

The Student Health Center is staffed by a registered nurse and offers services for health and wellness, including same-day appointments as available.

Point Park University’s financial aid and student accounts departments help families find options to keep education affordable.

The University Advising Center is dedicated to assisting students in achieving their goals; the center provides academic guidance, connections to campus resources, and support that continues through graduation.

The University’s Counseling Center offers free services for mental well-being in a safe and confidential environment, enabling students to discuss their personal and academic concerns.
